Meet up by an information board. It is located on the opposite side of the road from Øvreseter parking lot. You can see the logo of Skiforeningen on the board. See photo below.
Drive past Holmenkollen National Arena and follow the signs towards Tryvann Winter Park. Øvreseter parking lot is on the left-hand side of the road before you reach a kindergarten. Øvresetertjern and the meeting point are then located on the opposite side of the road from the parking lot.
Take metro line 1 (Frognerseteren) to Voksenkollen station. From there, it’s about a 5-minute walk up to Øvresetertjern. When you exit the metro, follow the pedestrian path on the left-hand side. You’ll need to cross the bridge that goes over the metro tracks. Continue along Tryvannsveien until you reach a kindergarten. The parking lot is located just below the kindergarten.
We have weekend courses on Saturday and Sunday (one session each day)
Weekday Courses
Our Weekday courses start at either 5.30 PM or 7.15 PM.
These courses run over either two or three sessions. The sessions are happening at the same day and time for two or three weeks.
We are flexible regarding both time and location for our private lessons.
Each session lasts 90 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes early so you’re ready to begin on time.
Bring pre-waxed skis, poles, cross-country ski boots, and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Both waxable and waxless skis (like skin skis) work well for our classic courses.
Skiforeningen does not offer ski rentals. However, members of Skiforeningen and course participants receive a 20% discount on rentals at Superski upon presentation of a valid membership card or course registration confirmation.
